Dt. Melike Nagihan Şahin successfully graduated from Kocaeli University Faculty of Dentistry in 2023. Right after completing her undergraduate education, she embarked on a fast-paced professional journey. By working in various health institutions and clinics, she enriched her theoretical knowledge and refined her practical field experience. Following these experiences, she joined the team at Mergendent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic in June 2024, where she currently continues to actively serve her patients.

Focusing on the principles of aesthetic, digital, and minimally invasive dentistry in her clinical practice, she aims to bring aesthetic perception and chewing function to the highest level in her treatment processes. In this direction, she provides personalized treatments in a wide range of areas such as implant surgery, zirconium and porcelain veneers, smile design, implant-supported prostheses, and removable dentures.

Believing that true success in oral and dental health lies in preventive dentistry, she aims to intervene before problems escalate and to maintain sustainable oral health. In her daily clinical practice, she meticulously performs fundamental dental procedures such as root canal treatment (endodontic therapy), aesthetic composite fillings, and dental calculus cleaning (detartrage) using modern techniques and up-todate materials.

Defending that treatment success depends not only on technical applications but also on the bond of trust established with the patient, she adopts a transparent, clear, and strong patient communication process. She details every planned procedure, step, and post-treatment phase to her patients. Eliminating all potential question marks and ensuring patients sit in the dental chair with complete confidence remains her top priority.

Placing great importance on keeping up with technological transformations and scientific developments in dentistry, Dt. Melike Nagihan Şahin aims to provide every patient with a safe, comfortable, and fully personalized treatment experience through her up-to-date vision. Thanks to her advanced command of English, she also effectively communicates with and serves international and foreign patients during their treatment processes.
